Where do the coach tours depart from?

Our coach tours depart from all over Australia. The great thing about funtrav.com is that you can search for the coach tours that are departing within the town or city close to you. The coach tour departure locations are listed under the Tour Details for each tour. You are then able to select which departure location is best suited to you from the drop down box provided in the Passenger Booking Form.



What type of coach tours can I book on?

The coach tours available on this website vary according to availability that tour operators have on their coach tours. The aim is to provide a full range of coach tours that cater for all age groups and for those with different interests. Our listed tours will range from day tours, extended tours, seniors tours, adventure tours, camping tours or 4WD tours. We also provide coach tours for special interest groups such as gardeners, birdwatchers, religious groups, sports fans plus much more.

How do I pay for a coach tour booking?

There are 3 methods that you can use to purchase your coach tour booking Direct Payment, Bank Cheque or secure Credit Card payment.


What is direct payment?
Direct Payment is where you transfer money from your bank account directly into our bank account. Once you have completed your coach tour booking write down the BSB No., Account No., Booking Reference Number and the amount to be transferred. Then login into your internet banking account and transfer the funds using the details listed. All direct payments must be provided with the Booking Reference Number to enable processing.


How do I pay by bank cheque?

Once you have completed your tour booking online simply post us your bank cheque to Funtrav at PO Box 140, Kingsville, Victoria, Australia, 3013. Please make all cheques payable to Funtrav and please include a note with your details and booking reference number.


What credit cards do Funtrav.com accept? 

Funtrav accepts VISA and Mastercard credit card payments for any tour bookings. Funtrav does not store or record any credit card details in its database. Details are securely checked and authorisation is performed instantly using 128 bit encryption via the SecurePay's eSec Gateway.


Can I pay a deposit instead of the full amount?

Yes, if the passenger fare exceeds $400 per person and the tour does not depart for at least 60 days then you have the option of paying a $300 per person deposit. The full balance for the coach tour is then due at least 60 days prior to the coach tour departing.


Are my payment and personal details secure?

Yes, funtrav.com uses the latest 128Bit Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology that is available. Please also refer to our Privacy Policy for further details.


What information do I need to bring with me?

You will need to bring with you a

  • Booking Reference Number (provided in booking email)
  • Coach Tour Itinerary (provided in booking email)
  • Photo ID (eg. keypass, driver licence, passport)
  • Passport and visa documents (If applicable)

If you are travelling overseas you must have a passport with at least 6 months validity, from the time you arrive back. You must also have all relevant visa or re-entry documentation.


What if I have to cancel my coach tour booking?

If for any reason that you have to cancel a coach tour booking, then you must notify us in writing as soon as possible so that we can notify the coach tour operator. Each coach tour has its own cancellation policy and is clearly provided on the Tour Details and Confirmation pages during booking. It is also printed on your itinerary provided via email once your tour booking has been processed. If cancellation occurs on the coach tour departure date or during the tour, 100% of your tour costs will be forfeited.
Any airfares or tickets purchased on your behalf are non refundable. The AU$3.85 booking fee is also non refundable. Any change or cancellation to a booking will incur a AU$20 administration fee plus any airline, rail or operators fees incurred. It is strongly recommended that travel insurance is taken out to cover any losses that may occur.


What if I need to change details of my coach tour booking?

For any changes to your booking details there is $20 administration fee plus any tour operator, airline or rail change fees. Once a booking has been made it is non transferable and cancellation policies apply. Additional fees may apply if tickets for rail, air, ship or coach have already been issued.

How much time should I allow before the coach tour departure time?

Unless stated in the tour itinerary, you should allow a minimum of 30 minutes for domestic travel. If you are travelling internationally be at your departure point at least 90 minutes prior to departure. Please note, if you fail to arrive at your tour departure location on time the full fare will be forfeited.
