"Tin-a-aii" in Norfolk language means to look on things of beauty. Formerly known as the Barney Duffy Tour, the Tin-a-aii Tour is a tour viewing eye-catching and beautiful places on Norfolk Island. A great photographers opportunity for beautiful scenic shots


Convict Settlement Tour  

Join us on an 'In Depth' tour of the historic Georgian settlement of Kingston. Walk through the cemetery & hear the history of interesting convict & colonial headstones, hear stories of the houses along Quality Row.Walk through the ruins of the New Gaol, see the Pier Store, Boat Shed and the Crank Mill. Afternoon tea included.

Island Culture Tour  

Experience the culture of Norfolk Islands forebears! From their mutineer ancestors & their Tahitian wives came the arts of wood craft, weaving, cooking & our Norfolk Language. On this tour see a woodturning demonstration using Norfolk timber, visit Island homes where you'll learn about our cooking. An Island weaving demonstration & a presentation on the Norfolk language will follow the afternoon tea break.


Behind the Hedges Tour  

Travel to Anson Bay to visit a small hobby farm, which has been instrumental in improving our local livestock industry. Close by see a demonstration at Norfolk's major pottery and browse at the Cottage Pottery shop. After a delicious morning tea at a scenic location, visit a beautiful private and commercial garden that supplies our local florists with stock. Visit Peter Christians' Kentia palm plantation, which has exports around the world.Exclusive to Pinetree Tours visit “Sweeties” for a demonstration of local chocolate making.


Greenfingers Tour  
A tour featuring some of the Islands most lovely gardens. Throughout the morning we visit a nursery owned & operated by a young Norfolk Islander, a private fruit & vegetable market garden as well as visit a gorgeous private garden with a spectacular views of Kingston & Nepean & Philip Islands. Our local historian will give a talk on this area with a history dating to 1788.Morning tea is served in a scenic location.


Island Fish Fry  

Enjoy a feast of Island dishes, salads, homemade bread and fresh fried fish, followed by Island desserts and tea/coffee.Watch the sunset over the ocean from Puppy's Point on Norfolk's beautiful western coastline.

Progressive Dinner  

Enjoy a 4 course meal progressing to different Island homes. A fun night and a good way to meet the local people and sample some of the Island dishes.


Breakfast Bushwalk  
Take your choice of a stroll through One Hundred Acres Reserve or for the more energetic, a leisurely 3.5km walk through scenic Mt Bates to Captain Cook Monument. At the end of both walks we meet on the clifftop for a delicious breakfast barbecue. If you prefer not to bushwalk and rise early but would like to have breakfast on the clifftop, join the walkers a little later at Anson Bay and share in the delicious barbeque breakfast."


Mutiny on the Bounty Show  

One of Norfolk Island's most popular visitor attractions is the Mutiny on the Bounty Show, a dramatic production involving scores of Islanders. See descendants of the mutineers bring their story and historic events alive in a 90-minute realistic portrayal staged in an outdoor amphitheatre on the Island's western shoreline.


Sound and Light Show  

Nightfall at Kingston brings a different mood to the convict settlement. The stillness of the sea beneath the stars is there just as it was before mankind arrived in 1788. However, with dramatic use of real life sounds together with theatrical lighting and costumed actors, the stillness is broken as Pinetree tours takes you through the horrifying decades of Norfolk Island's convict era.


Wonderland By Night  

The setting is 10 acres of magical Norfolk pines & bushland lit up like an enchanted forest. Meander along (or ride in the 'moon buggy') a winding pathway with Archie, a descendant of the Bounty mutineers, as he recites his poems and lights up the dioramas. Then afterward enjoy a light supper.


Night as a Convict  
A fun night out for all ages! Dress as a convict & join with the commandant for an evening of gaiety, feasting, singing & dancing. (outfit supplied) Great food! Great fun! This is the most popular feature dinner on Norfolk.


Mountain Bike Ride  
Experience the thrill of a scenic downhill mountain bike adventure.  An experience guide will take you through stunning forests and coastal views.  Latest model mountain bikes provided.  Followed by lunch at Captain Cook's Monument. 


 
Scenic Flight  
This adventure flight takes you around Norfolk's rugged coastline, out to Phillip and Nepean Islands and back over the centre of town.  Relax and enjoy the breathtaking scenery.  A photographer's must! 


 
Murder Mystery Night  
Enjoy a three course meal fir for the Commandants while the mystery unfolds.  Meet the commandants, clergymen and convicts of this period.  True characters from the second settlement.  Guaranteed a great fun night out.  Solve the mystery and win a prize!
